Corn!

(7/4)  Me: This is what your brothers look like.
C: Do they have a blankey?
Me: Nope, they don't need one inside my tummy.
C: Can I hear the babies?
Me: I'm not sure I can find a heartbeat sound, but you can feel the babies.  Put your hand here.  Here's one of them.
C: I'm hugging the baby!

(7/7) Prenatal visit: one baby is transverse, just like big brother.  LOL.  Sorry boys, you'll probably inherit your mother's poor sense of direction.  Heartbeats are good and we start visiting the Dr more often now (every 2 weeks instead of every 4).  Next ultrasound: 7/13!  Looking forward to peeking in again soon.

(7/8)  Happy Birthday, big brother Colton

24 Weeks!  BabyCenter sez:
Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts him at just over a pound. Since he's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but his body is filling out proportionally and he'll soon start to plump up. His brain is also growing quickly now, and his taste buds are continuing to develop. His lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help his air sacs inflate once he hits the outside world. His skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.
24 weeks
