Chinese Cabbages!

(8/2) We're back from a beautiful stay at the Husum Highlands B&B for our Anniversary/Mama's Birthday.  Big brother stayed with Nanan, so it was just the four of us.  It was gorgeous and the sun was out, which made me an extra happy camper!  It was so nice to have some time away with Dad ~ it's been a long time since we've gone on a trip together.

(8/4) Prenatal visit: truckin' right along.  Heartbeats are good, I'm measuring normally, etc. We go to weekly appointments at 30 wks, plus weekly non-stress tests.  I'm going to feel like I live at the hospital pretty soon here!

(8/5) 28 weeks!  Welcome to the third trimester.  The countdown is on. 10ish weeks to go. Eep!

BabyCenter says:
By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world. See what your baby looks like this week. (Or see what fraternal twins look like in the womb this week.)

8/5; 28 wks!
