Happy men! (J left) |
Twinsies had a good day with Kathy - slept a lot & ate a lot. Sounds fantastic to me!
J has been sleeping longer and longer before his first wake-up. He went over 8 hrs last night! Miracles do happen! D isn't eating as many solids yet, so he gets hungry more often. But it's nice to know that there's light at the end of this tunnel!
(3/28) Gorgeous morning! I snuck out for a run while Dad watched the boys. We had a great morning and then Nanan came to watch the little bits while C & I went to preschool. She and C colored eggs when we returned and the twins napped. She was the baby holder while I made dinner too, which was very helpful. It's not often that I make it all the way through dinner prep with the use of both hands!

(3/29) Twinsies day with Dad. Dad took them to Play it Again Sports to get C all set for soccer in a few weeks. Frankly, I'm surprised they don't have mini practice (hockey) jerseys yet. It's just a matter of time.

I can see J's two bottom teeth distinctly just under the gum line - they're so close to popping through. They sure do make him cranky at times. J is very close to sitting up too. I had him in a reclined position against my leg and he sat up, only to list over to the other side. Getting sturdier!
(3/30) Work day for Mom & Dad and the little boys are with Kathy. The boys did a lot of sleeping, and not so much eating. Hmm, maybe not growing right this minute?
J is working on buzzing his lips and was doing it in his sleep last night. Cracked me up!
(3/31) Work day for Dad and I actually get to go out with the girls tonight. Woohoo! Granddad and Grandma will be here to watch the kiddos. Looking forward to it!
(4/1) J slept until after 8am in the co-sleeper! New record! He is so much like his daddy. Every night when I'm putting the boys to bed, he pulls the blanket over his head and proceeds to fall asleep.
D has started shaking his head today. He shakes a few times, and then grins the biggest grin and then repeats, stopping to make sure we're watching. So funny!
We had family pictures done at the Four Springs Preserve on Camano today. I can't wait to see how they turned out! Dad bought a LivingSocial for a photo-shoot, and we finally found a time when all of us could make it and it wasn't snowing or doing something crazy like that.
After pictures we made a quick side trip to Nanan's for the gate (of child containment) and then home to a great crock-pot creation by Dad. Now, we're on to our date night in. Got the big one in bed, and I'm sure the littles will want to follow shortly.
(4/2) Monday again. C is on Spring Break this week, and all 3 kiddos will be home with Dad today. Have fun, Dad!
