August 28th-September 3rd

(8/28) The men were in a great mood this evening!  So smiley and giggly.  Sarah said they had a fun day and that both of them just take off for the play room as soon as they get to her house.  D practiced saying "Denton!" all the way home today.

(8/29) I took the twinsies to the park this morning to visit with Sarah & co, and left when they were just starting to get cranky.  We made a quick stop at the library and I noted that it was too quiet on our way back.  Doh!  They fell asleep in the whopping 5 minutes it took to get home.  Sigh.  I woke them up, fed them lunch, and then put them down in an attempt to get a better nap.  D practiced saying "JJ!" and J was cackling over the monitor for about 30 minutes.  Nanan came to watch them so C & I could go swimming and she said they did end up sleeping for about 1.5 hrs.  They were so very done early tonight with only that nap, so I went ahead and put them down.

(8/30) The twins woke early this morning and I stalled as long as possible hoping that they might go back to sleep.  Nope.  I picked up D and was greeted with "Dada!"  He gets all the credit.  Hope the boys have a good day ~ they're home with Dad today, and I am at work.

(8/31) I was a bad mom today.  We were let off early from work, so I came home and worked in the yard, and went for a run before fetching the boys from Sarah's.  Dinner was messy (black beans), so it was bath night, which all three boys seem to enjoy.

Hard to see....
but J has crazy hair today.
(9/1) LOL!  D has called me "Dada!" all morning and is calling Dad "Rah-rah" (Sarah).  Hee!

(9/2)  Wow!  We sure wore the boys out.  They slept from 11:30a-4:15p.  They were happy and social at Clark's party and ate and ate and ate like usual.  J even talked me out of a bite of lemon meringue.  Yum! D and I fought all the way to the party.  I would say "Mama" and he would respond with "Dada."  Guess I'm still Dada.

(9/3) Happy Labor Day!  I am off and running (literally) with the girls today and it will be boys' day at home.
