“I cannot go to school today," Said little Peggy Ann McKay.

J: I have a food ache!

J: This is my mom, my Megan.

J: I'm too sick and too lazy to go to school, Mom.

D: How old do I have to be to have a counselor?
Me: You can be any age, bud.

Random kid at the park: How do you spell because?
J: B-u-t BUTT!

Me: Dad has an appointment to take the car to the Chevy doctor in 2 Fridays, and you're gonna help him.
D: No, I don't want to help him. I'm just gonna play with the toys.

D: The radio just doesn't want to work, and that's the truth!
Me: I'm sure the mechanic can fix it.
D: We need a new Chevy if the radio just doesn't want to work.

Reasons never to give 5 year old twins total control of the remote...
(3/21) Work day for Dad & me, and school for the boys.  I snuck in a quick run before the boys got home from C's lacrosse practice.  I am loving that it's lighter later!

(3/22) Work day for Dad, day off for me, and my day to work in the twins' class.  We went to dinner at a new place (to us).  Dinner was delish, and we all had "food aches," as J calls them.

(3/23) I took today off to go skiing with my dad.  It was just the two of us today, and the snow was great!  It really felt like spring skiing today, and the backside was awesome.  We skied until my legs were jello, and called it a day.  Dad had the boys today, and C had lacrosse practice this evening.  Thankfully, I made it home just in time so was able to hang with the twins while they went off to do that.

Beautiful day!
Nests!
(3/24) Work day for me, and Dad had the boys. We had our roof cleaned this morning, and the guy made the twins squeal with laughter by spraying each window they were at.  Dad took C to a playoff  hockey game tonight.  The Tips won, and I guess they had some pretty amazing seats!

(3/25) Sarah and I met up for our weekly coffee walk this morning.  C had a lacrosse game today, and I got some cleaning done while the twins played video games. It much easier to throw stuff away when they're not paying attention!  After lunch, Sarah and I did a kid swap.  I took her older, and she braved taking my youngers.  The boys had a great time!

(3/26) Lazy Sunday for the boys & me.  I pried them away from their precious video games after lunch and we rode bikes down to the creek.  Today, there was a huge herd of kids out, which made it extra fun!

(3/27) My dad had surgery today, so my brother and I took today off to go be with him. Everything went great and he was released and home this afternoon! The twins got to go to the zoo with Amanda before school.  It looks like had a really fun time!  C is off early all week because it's conference week, and so got an extended screen time today.  He was thrilled.

(3/28) Work day for Dad & me, and school for the kiddos.  I had book club with my work peeps tonight, and C had lacrosse practice this evening, so we all arrived home around the same time.

(3/29) Busy day for me & the boys!  We hit the gym, then went shopping, and then went to preschool.  Nanan came to preschool to finish out the day for me, and I headed out for C's conference.  There's been huge progress since last time, and I'm so pleased!  After his conference, I picked C up to go to his appointment.  Nanan brought the twins home in the meantime, and Dad got off work, so we all got to have dinner together.

(3/30) Work day for me, day off for Dad, and school for the boys. Dad and Rob worked on the Gambler car, and got some tunes installed for their race in June.  Nanan worked in the twins' classroom, and then brought them home afterward.  She hung out for a bit until I got home, and we got to visit before it was the twinadoes' bed time.

When you just can't.
This one isn't dramatic at all.
(3/31) Work day for me, and Dad has the boys today.  They are hopefully getting the radio fixed on the Chevy, and not buying a new car. The boys are sharing a chair and the tablet below.  So cute!
