Life Long Learners

(5/15) Day off for me, and my day to work in the twins' classes. D's morning group teacher was out, but we played bingo with another group, and then went to class. I helped out doing some testing and filing for his teacher. I went back for math in J's class this afternoon. D & C had appointments after school, and we all went out to dinner at "Scutterbutt" as D calls it.  Hee!

(5/16) Work day for me, day off for Dad, and school for the boys today. It was a busy-work kind of day for me and I got a lot done. I was glad when the day was done and I got to go home and hang with my peeps.

(5/17) Work day for me, school for the boys, and day off for Dad. Usually Sarah and I walk in the mornings before work, but today was gross, and I went back to bed. Thankfully it had cleared up by lunchtime and I was able to walk then.


(5/18) Sarah and I went to Zumba this morning.  It was beautiful out today, and after I got home,  I sat outside with my book. Dad took the twins up to pick up trash along the Mountain Loop. They filled the truck bed. I took C to a birthday party this afternoon, so we hung out at home until it was time to go. Dad took the twins and me out to dinner this evening. And then Dad and I were able to sneak in a movie while the twins were video gaming.


(5/19) We had a pretty quiet day. I picked up C this morning, and then brought him home to video game with the twins. We had an early dinner after Dad got home, and C suggested we go to the lake. I sent a message to Sarah and she and the kids joined us.  We came home in time for all our Sunday activities and had a lovely evening.


(5/20) Work day for Dad & me, and school for the boys. The twins were nominated as Life Long Learners at school, and all the grands came to the assembly and then joined us for dinner to celebrate. I'm so proud of both of them -- they have worked so hard!

(5/21) Meeting Tuesday included a meeting to hash out the Game of Thrones Death Pool at work. Sadly I didn't take home the throne, even though I brought in brownies to bribe our judges. Nanan picked up the boys today, and they played an intense game of Uno after dinner.


(5/22) Day off for me, work for Dad, and school for the boys. I worked in the twins' classrooms today. Another mom of twins was working in D's class, and we got to visit and build clocks for their unit on time. In J's class, I helped with math groups. Cass had a vet appointment this afternoon--just to update vaccs.  He's such a good boy!


(5/23) Work day for me, day off for Dad, and school for the boys. When I got home the twins were outside playing with Cass and their water squirters. Cass thinks this is the BEST.GAME.EVER! They all came in sopping wet, and obviously had a great time.

(5/24) Work day for me, day off for Dad, and school for the boys. C headed out camping with Sarah and co after school, and I was off early from work this afternoon. We don't have any big plans for the holiday, so it should be a relaxed and quiet weekend.


(5/25) Happy Saturday! I hit the gym this morning, and once I got home and we had had lunch, we headed out to Woodinville for some wine tasting on this rainy afternoon. We ended the day at Middleton and treated the boys to games, beer nachos, and pizza. Yummo! They watched a movie when we got home, complete with movie candy.


(5/26) Work day for Dad, and a lazy day for the twins and me. I took them to Silver Lake this afternoon to play while I read my book in the sunshine. I love having the lake so close!


(5/27) Memorial Day. Dad worked a 12 hour shift today to cover for various people out on vacation. The twins and I bummed around the house and video gamed until lunchtime, and then we picked up a picnic to take to the spray park. We stayed for a few hours, and then headed home.  C returned from camping and said he had a great time. They swam every day, which he loves. After dinner, the twins went back outside to play squirt guns with the dogs, and everyone came back in soaked.

(5/28) Work day for Dad and me and school for the boys today.  All normal Tuesday meetings were canceled, so I scored a day of productivity instead, which is always great for a short week.

(5/29) Day off for me and I spent it working in the kiddos' classrooms. I assembled booklets for D's class, and helped with crowd control in J's since there was a guest teacher today, and the whole class was squirrelly.  D had an appointment this afternoon, but other than that, we're hangin' at home.
