February 28-March 5

(2/28) Work day for Dad & me.  The kiddos ended up going to Sarah's today since Kathy was unavailable.  Sarah said J was pretty go-with-the-flow and D was his typical sensitive self and didn't sleep quite as much as normal.  We got home and had enough time for dinner and a couple of games of Trouble before putting everyone to bed.  Poor C, I tried to read him stories over fussing boys and it just didn't work very well.  Oh well.  I tried.

(2/29) Leap Day!  It snowed today.  A sure sign that Spring is on its way?

Little boys ended up going to Sarah's house while the big kids were at preschool.  Nanan was sick today.. she's got the awful plague that everyone has passed around. Hope she feels better soon!

Sarah also watched the boys while I ran to the dentist.  I had to have a wisdom tooth removed and on the discharge instructions, it said to get lots of rest.  Ahahahahaha!  They're funny!

(3/1) Apparently J was tired today.  He slept until 11:30a, fell asleep close to 1p, was woken up to get C from preschool, and then went to Granddad's where he took yet another nap. He napped again coming home and was ready to go down for the night at 9p.  He was his happy "yelly" self for the rest of the day, so I guess he just needed some extra sleep.

(3/2) Kiddies were with Sarah again today while Dad & I were at work again today.  I got to join them for dinner this evening, which was very nice.  Sarah said the little boys had a MUCH better day and were starting to figure each other out.

Jensen gives raspberries and then laughs :)

(3/3)  Today Denton slept in the cosleeper until 5 before waking, which was awesome.  Hellllo sleep, how I've missed you!  I so enjoyed my sleep that I lazed through the morning until hockey time.  We then piled in the car and little bits went to Granddad's while C & I went off to hockey.  We joined Grandma & Granddad for lunch afterward and then came home just long enough for the little guys to nap before I woke them up and hauled them to the park.  I probably should have just stayed home, because I was pretty done at that point.  After that, it was a whirlwind of dinner/bath/strories and bedtime.  Whew.

Smiley Denton

(3/4)  I went out for a run on Lord Hill with Sarah & fam, and the little guys stayed home with Dad.  Denton got to try out the exersaucer from Sarah's - he's a fan!  He even played himself out... (see middle picture below)

The rest of the day was exciting stuff like errands and napping.  Oh, and playing with babies.

Jensen got to try out peaches today.  He has been SO interested in everyone's food and lost it at dinner time when he wasn't getting to eat.  Denton also got upset (sympathy fussing), but passed out while nursing, and thus missed his chance.

D has been much more talkative this week, making that "gggggoo" sound that Jensen has been making for a few weeks now.  They both are getting a lot more fluid on rolling over and are starting to figure out moving their arms out from under themselves and scootching their legs up.  I bet I will be writing about cruisers soon!  They already are rolling places and don't stay where I leave them.

(3/5) I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go... Hope the boys have a good day with Dad!

* J is in the brown & blue outfit with a hood and D is in the jammies (brown or blue) in the pics above.
