March 26th-April 1st

(3/26) Work day for Dad & me, and Kathy had the kiddos. She said they all had a good day. I made burgers for dinner tonight, and broke those up for the babies to dip, plus they had cottage cheese and fruit, and got a couple of our fries = baff time for babies! They get SO excited about bath time. J says "HA-HA!" and puts his hands in the air. He usually goes running into the bathroom, and D loves the stairs, so he goes up those instead.


(3/27) C had an early release today, and started school at 10:45a. The boys and I played until school time, came home to play some more and have lunch, and then we went off to pick up C from school. I put them down for a nap once we got home and then Granddad and Grandma came to color eggs with C. The boys slept through the entire production and woke up about an hour after the grandparents had gone.


We met Sarah for a walk to Starbucks this evening, and of course it had started to rain after being so beautiful all day. Grr. Nanan met us at Starbucks, since she wanted to stop and see C before his trip, and C ended up leaving with her and Sarah and I walked back to her house. We piled in the car before it really started to rain and came home. Nanan decided to join us for dinner. At one point I looked up and the little boys were gone, and I realized that C had left the gate open. They had closed themselves in the bathroom, where J had grabbed the ketchup lid and D was the in first aid drawer. LOL!


My sillies ran around tonight with diaper covers on their heads. J started it first, and then D got upset that J wouldn't share, so I had to give him one. Crazy kids.


(3/28) Work day for me & Dad had the boys. Tonight was book club for me, so I popped in briefly at home and then left again about a half hour later. Not much time with the boys at all, but refreshing to have some adult time too.

(3/29) Dad dropped the big boys at school and then we got to go to "not-lunch" together. Our meal took so long to cook that we had to get it to go, but it was nice to visit. It was a gorgeous day today, and when I picked up the twins, they were in shorts, t-shirts and sandals. So cute! 'Course I made really messy babies at dinner tonight, so they had to be stripped down. I gave them yogurt, spoons and glasses without lids. J was trying to use the spoon as a straw and D dipped his spoon in the water and then poured it down his front.

(3/30) Oma and Opa came today to watch the twins since I had a run this morning and Dad and C were headed out camping. J cried and cried when Dad left, but soon passed out on Oma's lap and then was transferred to Opa. He had such a long nap that he talked through his afternoon nap instead of sleeping. It was a looong afternoon for him, but he made it. I took the boys to the store to pick up some groceries and had them sit in the cart, but as soon as we got close to the bananas, shouts of "NANANANA!!" started and I could barely keep them contained.


J has taken to hugging D, smiling at me and then taking D's toy. Lil stinker!


(3/31) Happy Easter! We had a great time over at Granddad & Grandma's today! It was so fun to have most of the family there, save Dad, C and Dad's folks. Poor Opa wasn't feeling well, and my big boys were out camping.  It was weird not having them there, but I know they're having a great time.    I love my big family!!


(4/1)  April Fool's!  Nanan stayed over last night to watch the twins until Dad & C return.  C will be going to Nanan's house after they get back until Wednesday.  He's on Spring Break this week and we're packing it full.
