February 25th-March 3rd

(2/25) Work day for Dad & me, and Kathy had the kids.  I made tilapia with a garlic and lime sauce.  C asked to try the raw garlic and then tried to tell me it didn't taste like anything and wanted more.  Goofball!  The fish wasn't a hit, but the boys did like the rice, though they wore more than they ate.  After dinner, it was homework time for C and bedtime for little boys.

(2/26) Super busy day for me!  I first volunteered in C's classroom, then headed down to Issaquah to purchase a car.  Let the minivan jokes fly, we're once again the owners of one!  I picked up C from school, and didn't tell him I'd picked up the van, and giggled when he tried to get in the car parked next to it.  Yes, I am mean, but Dad had taken all the kids down to look at it on Monday, so he had seen it and knew it was arriving at some point.

My chariot awaits...
(2/27) Work day for me and Dad has the kiddos.  I was home for about 15 minutes before it was time to go to Science Night at C's school.  What fun!  Granddad & Grandma came along and helped with all of the projects.  We all had a great time.  Dad said poor J melted down when I left. I almost always do bedtime, so this was out of the norm.  It was nice to spend some QT with my big kid though.

(2/28) Work day for Dad and me.  It was a long week in many ways.  Poor J was running a slight fever and kept tugging on his ear.  He took a really long nap, and seemed to be better by the time I picked him up.  He went to sleep without a problem tonight and wasn't a running a fever anymore, but we may need to run in.  We'll see.

Tooth #3 lost today!
(3/1) Hockey practice for C today.  J only turned the lights off on the people in the bleachers twice.  I guess that's an improvement. He was a little subdued, and later took a 4 hour nap. I suspect he's teething, but am having a hard time looking in his mouth - he thinks it's hysterical and laughs and laughs. I did finally confirm he has angry white spots where teeth will be poking through.  That must really hurt.  He took a LONG nap today, and I had to wake both boys so we could go to dinner at Sarah's.  We opted for breakfast for dinner and had pancakes and eggs.  We managed to kill a dozen eggs between all of us.  Dang!

So.many.boys!
(3/2) Pretty lazy day for us.  The littles and I hung out in our jammies while Dad & C went to his game.  2 goals today!  WTG!  Nanan went too, and then joined us for lunch and brought me coffee. Cue angels singing.  The boys took a nice, long nap and I was able to squeeze in a quick run at the gym since it was dumping buckets and then caught a few Zs myself.  Granddad and Grandma ran the Hot Chocolate 15k and the rain held off for them.  So proud of them!  That was a tough race!  After naps, Dad made us some dinner then it was time for bath and a movie.  The twins weren't as in to Planes as they are Cars.  I ended up putting them to bed about half way through since they were so noisy and obviously not involved in the movie in any way.  That, and it was bedtime.  Silly boys.
