Gobble Gobble!

Me: What did you have for dinner?
D & J: Quesadilla, French fries, and ketchup!
D: The ketchup was nummy!

Me: Good morning!
D: Not yet.

Dad: Hey mister, you don't get to be so demanding!
J: I am a man!

Me: Good morning!
J: I SAID NO!

C: I'm letting the twins have their own pets to see if they're more of an animal person or a hunting person.

D: I'm the big boss!
C: You're not big! Mom's not color blind, you know.
J: Mom's the applesauce boss!
Me: That's right, I'm big boss applesauce.
D: No, I'm the big boss!
Me: No, you're the 4 year old.
J: I old.

(11/24) Yay, last day of work this week!  My children were replaced by monsters today, and gave everyone a run for their money.  Traffic was a joke going to and from work... and yeah, it was a day.  Glad it's over.

(11/25) The littles had their Thanksgiving feast at school today.  They made muffins, had fruit salad, and tried pumpkin pie.  J showed off how to properly use the whip cream bottle (by squirting it directly into his mouth).... whoops.  I wiped it off.  Color me red on that one.  C had a rough morning and day at school. Eight is hard.

(11/26) Dad cooked us up a feast today for turkey day. The house smelled amazing!  Nanan came to have dinner with us.  My children predictably had rolls for dinner and not much else...  So now we have leftovers for days!  More for us adults, I guess.

(11/27) Today was the ultimate day of sloth. Dad and I were both off work, so we held the couch down pretty much all day, while the boys terrorized the house by building forts.  Dad and C went to the Tips game this evening, but came home early when C started to feel yucky.  We've all been passing around this same stupid cold, and it finally struck him.  Poor bubs.

(11/28) No hockey today meant I got to go for a run in the sunshine at a reasonable time of day.  I ran out, got my Sbux, and then rejoined the chaos. Nanan came to stay with the kids while we went out this evening.  They made some fabulous cookies while we were gone.  Great treat to come home to!

Amazing moon!
(11/29) Rough go at our house this morning, but we miraculously managed to turn the tide and had a wonderful Thanksgiving, round III at Granddad's.  My children again over snacked, but then they went to play downstairs during dinner and I got to enjoy time with my family uninterrupted.  Win!  I failed to take many pictures this week, but my heart is full.

(11/30) Back to work and school today.  C had hockey this evening and monkeyed around out on the ice.  I picked up the twinadoes from the arena, and put them to bed before collapsing on the couch.  Monday packs a punch.
