D: Mom goes to the gym, but he doesn't like it. I want him to stay home and use the treadnill!

From Amanda ~ D was me telling me about your birthday and what you guys were going to do, and then he said that you weren't very excited for it, and I asked why, he said it's because you're almost 40. LOL. And then he asked if I was 40 yet

(7/28) Work day for me, and Dad had the boys. C asked me to dye his hair tonight, so he now has bright green hair. We went to Cinema Under the Stars this evening and watched Lego Batman. Appropriate to have Joker hair!
(7/29) Happy Anniversary to us! Our relationship is now old enough to drink, so that's what we did today. We hit Whistle Stop for their customer appreciation day & had lunch and a beer. Then we went to Temple Distillery for some gin tasting. And finally, we went to Locust for some cider. Grandma & Granddad had the boys while we were out for our date day. We capped off a fun day with a movie at home, which the boys watched while wearing their new backpacks. They're just a little excited for school!
(7/30) Lazy Sunday at home. We invited ourselves swimming over at Sarah's after lunch and had a fun time hanging out. At home we broke out the s'mores supplies and had a fire.
(7/31) Work day for Dad & me, Amanda had the twins, and C got to go sailing today with Grandma & Granddad. They caught a bunch of crabs, and we're all looking forward to the feast on Weds!
(8/1) Work day for Dad & me. Well, really "work" for me since we had a staff outing. We got to take a party bus to Flee - an escape room in Seattle, and try to escape from a locked room in under an hour. We failed to do so, and also from quarantining the outbreak. So sorry ya'll, but you're all gonna catch the plague. We then hit Tavern 12 for some grub. Just when we were all stuffed, Shavonie brought out strawberry cheesecake for my birthday. Nom!
(8/2) The twins had a doctor's appointment this afternoon. They played video games right through their shots and did great. We got to go play in Sarah's pool, and then went directly into Granddad's hot tub when we went over for dinner to celebrate Jake's and my bdays. It was our last big dinner at the big house in Mukilteo. So many special memories. We hope the walls are loaded with fart jokes and will make the new owners really happy.
(8/3) Work day for me, and Dad had the boys. It was really hot out today, so to beat the heat, Dad took the kiddos skating, and then out for root beer floats. Lucky boys!
(8/4) Work day for me, and Dad had the boys. The nice thing about working at the office is the air conditioning! Though the smoke is so bad right now from the fires up north. I hope it clears out soon.
(8/5) Nanan came down today and we took the kids swimming at Sarah's house. We had a relaxing time and got to visit while the kids swam.
(8/6) Today we got to go up and visit Amber, Jake, and the kids for a pool party. Hours of fun! My kids are convinced that we need to move so we also can have a pool.
(8/7) Happy Monday! I'm on vacation this week ~ we'll just have to wait and see what trouble I can get us into.
