(2/6) Home again today. J's temp held steady at 99° in the morning. We met Sarah & co at the park to get some fresh air again today. I think it helped all of us! Though, that outing was apparently exhausting for the boys and they slept from the time we left the park all the way until it was time to pick C up from school later in the afternoon. They didn't even get lunch! I ended up feeding them bites of C's discarded lunch on the way back from picking him up, and getting dinner started as soon as we got home. J was very tired and started laying on the floor, so I took them up a little early.
(2/7) Dad had the kiddos today. Poor C spiked a temp and stayed home from school today, so it was a bum-around-in-your-jammies kind of day. I worked and took a class after, so wasn't home until late.. and by then the kids were about ready to go to bed.
(2/8) Work day for Dad and me. The kids were all feeling well enough to go to Kathy's and to school. When I went to pick them up, C was looking a little pale. Unfortunately, he spiked another fever this evening. Ugh! J was really tired tonight too. I'm glad D has not gotten this - I sure hope he avoids it!
(2/9) Ugh. And now they're coughing. Poor monkeys. We kept C home from hockey today, and may have to do that again tomorrow since his temp climbed over 100° again tonight. J's was 99° a couple of times and he had some ibuprofen to keep it down. He's still eating and is back to his non-cuddly self until he starts to get hot, so we're doing okay there. We were supposed to go to Grandma & Granddad's today, but didn't want to share our flu. Sigh. They brought us cupcakes though.. awesome!
(2/10) A truly lazy Sunday. C was still pale and achy this morning, so we kept him home from the game. The twins didn't get the memo about sleeping in this morning, and were awake and chatty before 8am. We had a nice, lazy morning and got to hang out in our jammies. J's temp was normal this morning and he had a bit of a runny nose, but thankfully he wasn't coughing. I hope they kick this virus soon.
(2/11) Sixteen months today! Getting old! We were laughing at the park the other day saying that we were just counting steps and now they're running. Unbelievable.
I'm at work today and the kids are with their dad. I hope they have a great day!
